Vytae

Vytae for pharmacies and clinics

Run the check. We will explain it.

Your staff measure; Vytae writes the result in plain language against Malaysian guidelines, emails it to your customer, and puts it in their Vytae app if they use one. Nothing is kept on your phone after the visit.

The counter check

Six things, one visit.

Blood pressure

Read from the meter, with the movement it detected during the measurement.

The standing test

For dizziness on standing: 5 minutes at rest, then readings at 1 and 3 minutes standing. Lying or sitting, whichever suits the customer.

Cholesterol

Total, HDL, LDL and triglycerides, read against the Malaysian lipid guideline.

Blood glucose

Fasting or random, with the laboratory follow-up Malaysian guidance asks for.

HbA1c

On the Malaysian bands, which differ from the American ones.

Uric acid

With the plain reminder that a high level alone is not gout.

Every result you produce is marked as a screening result and kept apart from laboratory results, as Malaysia's point-of-care policy requires. National Policy and Guidelines for Point of Care Testing, 2nd edition — Medical Development Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia, 2022. MOH/P/PAK/465.21(BP)-e.

Joining

A person checks your licence. Not a script.

Malaysia's registers — the Malaysian Medical Council's, the Pharmacy Board's, the Allied Health Professions Council's — are searchable by people, not by software, and we will not scrape them. So a member of our team opens the official register and checks the registration number you give us, against the certificate you upload. That takes a few working days.

We record who checked it and when, and we ask again when a certificate expires. An automatic tick would be faster and would mean nothing.

What the form asks for

  • The place: name, address, and which it is — pharmacy, clinic, private practice
  • Its business registration and premises licence, with the expiry date
  • The registered person applying: a pharmacist, a doctor, a dietitian, a nurse
  • Their registration number and practising certificate

Licences and certificates are held in our own storage, never listed publicly, and only ever opened from a page that already required a staff sign-in.

Being straight with you

What this is not, yet.

Not a view into your patients

Today you produce a result and the customer receives it. Following a patient's readings over time, and receiving their lab reports, is being built — with their permission, given in the app and revocable there.

Not a diagnosis

Vytae is not a medical device. Finger-prick results screen; they do not diagnose, and every result we send says which laboratory test would confirm it.

Not a record you must keep

Results sit with the customer and, for a short window, with the clinic account that produced them. Your own record-keeping obligations stay yours.

Send us your details and we will check them.

The form takes a few minutes. You will hear from a person, not an automatic reply.
